The Quiet Man 10 Year Old Amarone Finish is an Irish single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured first in classic casks, then received a finish in Amarone wine casks. It belongs to the limited Series No. 2 and is released in small batches.
Ciaran Mulgrew named the brand after John Mulgrew, a bartender in Belfast for more than 50 years who was known as The Quiet Man.
Raisins and dates with a fine chocolate note give a deeply fruity nose. On the palate, vanilla sweetness meets the spicy structure of oak. The finish is long, ending in lively citrus.
