The Quiet Man 10 Year Old Marsala Finish Barman's Code (70cl, 43%)

The Quiet Man Barman's Code is a 10 year old Irish single malt finished in Sicilian Marsala wine casks, which adds a delicate fruity sweetness. Launched in March 2024, it opened a limited series of older single malts with different cask finishes. It was the first Quiet Man raised in strength from the earlier 40% to 43%. It is produced in small batches and bottled in Northern Ireland, in a 70cl bottle. Ciaran Mulgrew created The Quiet Man in tribute to his father John, who worked as a barman in Belfast for fifty years and was known for keeping guests' secrets. The edition name refers to that discretion. The nose is candied fruit and honey, the palate fine spice and cherry, and the finish sweet, fruity and gently warming.
