The Quiet Man Superior Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

The Quiet Man Superior is the flagship blended whiskey of the Quiet Man range, in a 70cl bottle. It combines a high proportion of single malt with light grain spirit, is triple-distilled and is matured only in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 40%. The colour is a pale, bright golden amber. The nose is light and floral, with vanilla, yellow apple, pear, honeyed cereal and butterscotch. On the palate, sweet corn, buttered toast and vanilla cream give way to black pepper and nutmeg. The finish is short to medium, clean and crisp, with sweet wood, soft grain and citrus zest.
