The San-In is a blended Japanese whisky made by Matsui Whisky in Tottori. It combines Matsui's own single malt with single grain whiskies bought in from another distillery, and it is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky is aged in white oak barrels and reduced with mineral-rich groundwater from Mount Daisen. The name refers to the region in which Tottori Prefecture lies.
The nose offers dried peaches in oatmeal and poached pears. On the palate come thyme and toast, with a touch of apricot and lime zest.
