The Sexton Single Malt is an Irish whisky created by master blender Alex Thomas. It is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills, and comes in a hexagonal bottle.
The spirit is aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a rich, fruity character.
The nose is typically described as nuts, marzipan and dark chocolate with a pinch of spice. The palate brings dried fruit, honeycomb, apricot, lemon zest, prunes and oak spice, and the finish is woody with honeyed sweetness coming through.
