The Six Isles is a blended malt made by Ian Macleod from single malts of six Scottish islands: Islay, Jura, Skye, Mull, Orkney and Arran. This batch strength bottling is at 58% in a 70cl bottle, without added colouring and without chill-filtration. Strong smoke meets salty, fruity and floral notes, with a fine sweet core underneath. The nose has fresh peat smoke, coastal notes that recall sand, light vanilla, lime and strawberry. On the palate the smoke is full and intense, with gooseberry and sweet citrus against salty, floral notes. The long, peaty finish keeps fruity and woody notes.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
