The Temple Bar 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

The Temple Bar 12 Year Old is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It was distilled in a small traditional copper pot still and then matured for twelve years in bourbon casks. The Temple Bar Whiskey Company selected and bottled it under the name of the Dublin pub, whose history reaches back to 1840. Tom Cleary took over the pub in 1992, and the company's own whiskey range has been maturing in its cellars since 2005. Honey and orange lead the nose. The palate brings spicy notes, sweet vanilla and oak, followed by a long finish.
