The Whisky Agency Invergordon Single Grain Scotch Whisky 1973 49 YO (40.3%)

A 49-year-old single grain whisky from Invergordon, distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2022 by The Whisky Agency. It matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and was bottled at 40.3% without artificial colouring, in an outturn of 191 bottles. Coconut runs through the tasting notes. The nose adds vanilla ice cream, pepper, caramel and sugar cane, while the palate brings strawberry sweets, caramel, coconut and hazelnut. The finish stays with coconut and is described as endless.
