The Whistler Imperial Stout Cask Finish is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey, made by Boann Distillery in Co. Meath in collaboration with O'Hara's Brewery. It is bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey was matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in casks that held O'Hara's Imperial Stout. It is non-chill filtered and unpeated.
The nose brings espresso, cocoa nibs and malted grains. On the palate there is dark chocolate, creamy vanilla and a touch of spice, leading to a long, smooth finish of coffee bitterness and sweet oak.
