The Wild North is a small-batch Canadian rye whisky made by Station 22 in Quebec from Canadian grains and spring water. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is aged for a minimum of five years in seasoned oak barrels, then finished in white oak casks. The nose is warm and sweet, with maple syrup, vanilla bean, toasted caramel, rye spice and charred oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, with butterscotch, toasted coconut and honeyed corn giving way to rye pepper, clove and baking spice. The finish is medium to long, with dry oak, caramel and persistent rye spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
