The Woodsman Blended Scotch Whisky

The Woodsman is a blended Scotch whisky made from malt and grain whiskies. It is matured in oak treated in an unusual way, including double-sided wood staves. The nose offers toffee, vanilla pod and lightly charred oak, with soft caramelised nuts, a touch of woodsmoke and dried apple and spice underneath. On the palate it is smooth, with vanilla fudge and toffee biscuit, oak spice, cocoa and a gentle campfire smokiness. The finish is of medium length, with vanilla, dry oak and a faint smoky warmth.
