Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye 2023 Release (62.5%)

Thomas H. Handy is a straight rye whiskey from Sazerac, in its 2023 release. It is bottled at barrel strength, uncut and unfiltered, at 124.9 proof. The barrels were matured for more than six years. The nose combines orange zest and lemon oil with caramel and subtle pine. On the palate there is freshly baked rye bread with orange marmalade and honey. The finish is lingering, with light oak and black liquorice.
