Thomas H. Handy Sazerac is a straight rye whiskey from Kentucky, bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel proof, 64.75% (129.5 proof). This is the 2022 release, a limited edition.
The rye was distilled in the spring and aged in warehouses I, L and M.
The nose is floral, with anise, marmalade and meringue. On the palate come baking spice, a burst of orange peel and subtle dark chocolate. The long finish is cinnamon, praline and candied orange.
