This is a Kentucky straight bourbon finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. It is made as a tribute to Thomas S. Moore, an early bourbon figure, and to his ambition and commitment to making bourbon that lasts.
The whiskey was first aged for many years in oak casks. It was then emptied and refilled into Cabernet Sauvignon casks, where it matured for several more years.
The taste is bold, with dark fruit, caramel and vanilla.
