Thompson Bros. Mystery Malt Series #5 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This is Batch 5 of the Mystery Malt Series from Thompson Bros., a Scottish single malt in a black bottle. Each bottle in the series conceals its distillery, whether an established name or a newer one, and the contents are only revealed once it is opened. Batch 5 brings together many distilleries and cask types. The malts it includes are between 5 and 27 years old and were matured in refill hogsheads, first-fill bourbon barrels, sherry and PX hogsheads, port and red wine casks, and Montilla-seasoned wood, among others.
