Single Malt Whisky
This is Batch 6 of the Mystery Malt Series from Thompson Bros., a Scottish single malt in a black bottle. The series is built around an undisclosed distillery: the malt inside may come from an established name or from a newer distillery, and it is only revealed once the bottle is opened. Batch 6 draws on a wide spread of distilleries and casks. The malts it includes range from 6 to 29 years old and were matured in refill sherry butts, refill hogsheads, bourbon barrels, first-fill wine barriques and port-seasoned casks, among others.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
