Three Chord Amplify is a blended rye whiskey made from ryes from Kentucky and Indiana. Rye tends to be drier and spicier than bourbon, and this one follows that pattern.
A 3-year-old rye brings wood and spice to the blend, while a younger rye adds a grassy character. The two are put together so that each balances the other.
