Thresh & Winnow Single Malt is a single-cask American single malt whiskey from KOVAL Distillery in Chicago, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Thresh & Winnow is a sub-brand of KOVAL, launched in September 2024. The whiskey is distilled from 100% organic malted barley, and only the heart of each distillation run goes into the barrel, with the heads and tails left out. Every bottle is drawn from a single barrel. The nose offers orange peel, honeyed grain and toffee, with soft oak spice. The palate is full-bodied and syrupy, with orange cream, vanilla, black pepper and cinnamon. The finish is long, with cereal sweetness, citrus zest and fresh pine.
