Tobermory 12 Year Old is a single malt from the only distillery on the Isle of Mull, founded in 1788. It matured for twelve years in American oak, both first-fill and virgin oak.
It is bottled at 46.3% with natural colour and without chill-filtering.
The nose is fruity and fresh, with grapefruit, orange, peach and banana, plus clove, cinnamon and full vanilla. The palate is sweet with citrus, especially orange, and creamy, rich caramel and vanilla, with cinnamon, clove and light white pepper. The finish is long and full of warming spice.
