Togouchi 9 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi 9 Year Old is a blended Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. It comes from the town of Togouchi and is made by Chugoku Jozo in underground tunnels. Chugoku Jozo is a brewery near Hiroshima that has made liqueurs, sake and shochu since 1918. It turned to whisky in 1990 with the Togouchi line. The master blender chose malt and grain distillates, which were sent to Japan, matured and blended there. The 9 years refers to the minimum time each whisky in the blend spent in barrel.
