Togouchi 9 Year Old

Togouchi 9 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky, blended by the Sakurao Distillery. The blend contains 38% malted barley and matures for nine years in bourbon barrels. It is aged in a former railway tunnel, where the humidity and temperature stay stable. White flowers, honey and peppermint are the notes associated with it. The nose is intense, with sweet spices and yellow fruit. The palate is fresh and dry, with spices and citrus, and the vibrant finish brings spices, citrus, peat and smoke.
