Togouchi Rum Cask Finish is a Japanese blended whisky launched in 2025, made from 15% malt whisky and 85% grain whisky distilled from unmalted barley. It comes from the Sakurao distillery.
The whisky matures first in bourbon barrels, then spends 18 months in Jamaican rum casks. It is the first Togouchi bottled at 43% ABV.
It is usually described as sweet and refined, with notes of vanilla and custard.
