Tomatin – 2010 Marsala Cask 12 Years Italian Collection (70cl, 46%)

This is a 12-year-old single malt from Tomatin, part of the distillery's Italian Collection of whiskies matured in Italian wine casks. It was distilled on 6 December 2010 and bottled on 5 June 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The first ten years were spent in American oak, followed by two years in a former Marsala wine cask. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is panettone and candied limes. On the palate come white chocolate, lemon pralines and hazelnut. The finish is sweet citrus with blood orange and notes of toasted oak.
