Torabhaig Allt Gleann is part of The Legacy Series from Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye, a limited release bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from heavily peated malt and matured in first-fill American oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry.
Tasting notes describe a smoky nose of seaweed, peat, iodine and citrus fruit, with vanilla, honey and spice beneath. The palate is robust and spicy with clear smoke, salty and maritime notes, and sweet citrus, vanilla and honey for balance. The finish is long, smoky and salty, with a light sweetness.
