Taigh is the first bottling in the core range from Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is a single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Maturation took place in a combination of first fill bourbon, refill bourbon and ex-Madeira casks.
The nose brings coastal air, smoke and woodland, with apple pie, maple syrup, raisins, clove, cinnamon and biscuits. The palate opens softly with gentle smoke, vanilla custard, toasted almonds and dried fruit. The finish carries toasted oak, red fruit, tannins, vanilla and clove, ending in peat smoke.
