Traveller Full Proof is an American whiskey blend made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, in collaboration with the musician Chris Stapleton. It is bottled at 60.5% ABV (121 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
Full proof here means the whiskey is bottled at the strength at which it entered the barrel, 121 proof, so it is brought back up slightly after maturation.
The nose offers caramelised sugar, baking spices and toasted oak. The palate brings vanilla, toffee and dark fruit, and the finish is long and warming, with oak, toffee and baking spice.
