Traverse City American Cherry Edition is a cherry-infused American whiskey from Traverse City Whiskey Company in Michigan, bottled at 35% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Montmorency tart cherries from the distillery's own farms are steeped for about three days in bourbon made from corn, rye and malted barley and aged in American oak. The nose is led by ripe, sweet cherry, with maize, caramel and a slight menthol coolness. The palate is sweet and cherry-forward, with vanilla, light rye spice, oak, a creamy nuttiness and a faint tart tang. The finish is short, with cinnamon warmth and lingering cherry.
