Tullamore Dew Crock (75cl, 40%)

Tullamore Dew Crock is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey blending grain whiskey, single malt and single pot still, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml ceramic crock. The crock is modelled on the stoneware jugs in which Irish whiskey was once sold, made by Wade Ceramics in England, and sealed with a cork and a porcelain stopper. The nose is fresh green apple with gentle sweetness, a light floral note and malt grain. The palate is soft and sweet, with candied apple, ripe pear, vanilla and light caramel, and a peppery warmth from the pot still. The finish is on the shorter side, with a clean, slightly spicy fade.
