Tullamore Dew (1L, 40%)

Tullamore Dew is a triple-distilled Irish blended whiskey, bottled at 40% ABV in a one-litre bottle. It is made at Tullamore Distillery in County Offaly, where the brand's history goes back to 1829. The blend combines malt, grain and pot still whiskey, and the grain whiskey is made from roughly 95% wheat and 5% malted barley. Each is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks and refill wood. The nose brings ripe green apple, honey and light floral sweetness over toasted wood. Candied apple leads the palate, followed by honeyed vanilla, dried fruit and a hint of spice and nuttiness. The finish is short and smooth, with toasted wood and a little vanilla.
