Tullamore – Dew Original Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Tullamore Dew Original is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It blends pot still, malt and grain whiskey, so all three Irish styles are in the glass. The blend is matured in three kinds of wood: ex-bourbon barrels, ex-Oloroso sherry casks and seasoned refill wood. It is made in Tullamore, County Offaly, where the brand's heritage reaches back to 1829. The name comes from the initials of Daniel E. Williams, an early manager of the distillery. Citrus and green apple lead, followed by vanilla and honeyed malt, with a touch of sherry nuttiness on the finish.
