This is a triple-distilled, triple-blend Irish whiskey from Tullamore Dew, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. The brand's Original blend is given a second maturation in casks that held hard apple cider, and it is described as the first whiskey in the world finished this way.
The nose is fresh and leafy, with crisp green apple and sweet malt. The palate is light-bodied and mellow, with oak, creamy malt and sweet fresh apple. The finish is lingering and sweet, with a very subtle fruitiness.
