Tullamore Dew XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey from the Tullamore Distillery in County Offaly, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is triple distilled and a triple blend of pot still, malt and grain whiskeys, matured in three types of wood.
The final stage is a finish in first-fill XO Caribbean rum casks that previously held Demerara rum. It carries no age statement.
The tasting notes describe vanilla and oak over citrus and ripe banana, with spice and creamy caramel. Dates and raisins develop towards a long, sweet finish, where the rum-cask influence is clear but balanced.
