Turntable Spirits Born To Be Wild (53%)

Born To Be Wild is Track 7 in the Turntable Journey series, a limited edition blended malt from Turntable Spirits. It is bottled at 53% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The blend draws on newer Scottish distilleries: 37% peated Ardnamurchan from a sherry butt, 16% Lochlea and 15% Nc'Nean from first-fill bourbon barrels, 18% peated Raasay from a Chinkapin barrel and 14% Port Dunas from a refill bourbon barrel. The character is smoky and sweet, with sea spray and campfire on the nose and a teriyaki and bacon richness. Warming spice leads to a gentle finish of cream, peach and barley biscuit.
