Turntable Spirits Paradise Funk Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Paradise Funk is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable Spirits, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Turntable was started by the brothers Gordon and Ally Stevenson. The blend is built from six parts, each from a different cask: Knockdhu in oak, Benrinnes in chinkapin, Invergordon in ex-cognac, Blairathol in bourbon, and an unnamed Speyside whisky and North British in virgin oak. The Speyside whisky is the largest share, at 30%. The nose offers leather dressing, nutmeg, dried fruit and vanilla. The palate is elegantly spiced, with baked pineapple and ripe red apples.
