Turntable Spirits Track 5 Harder Better Faster Stronger (70cl, 59.1%)

This is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable Spirits, bottled at 59.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is named after the Daft Punk track and bottled at full cask strength. The blend combines Speyside single malts with single grain whisky. It is 26% Tamdhu from a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, 21% Dalmunach and 18% Mannochmore, both from first-fill bourbon barrels, and 22% Girvan from first-fill bourbon barrels, plus 13% Girvan from an ex-Marsala barrel. The nose is described as espresso, dark chocolate, almond and spices. On the palate come toasted wood, spices, burnt figs, liquorice and dark chocolate with a hint of brittle.
