Turntable Track 07 Born To Be Wild Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 53%)

Track 07, Born to Be Wild, is a blended Scotch whisky from the Glasgow blender Turntable Spirits, part of its limited edition Track series. It is bottled at 53% in a 70cl bottle. The blend is built from new-generation distilleries, each appearing in a blended whisky for the first time: 37% peated Ardnamurchan from sherry butt, 16% Lochlea and 15% NC'Nean from first-fill bourbon barrels, and 18% peated Raasay from chinkapin barrel. The grain component is 14% Port Dundas, from an extinct distillery, in refill bourbon barrel. It is described as smoky and sweet, with sea spray, campfire, teriyaki and bacon, then warming spice and a gentle finish of cream, peach and barley biscuit.
