Tweeddale – Grain of Truth Single Grain (46%)

A single grain whisky from Tweeddale, bottled at 46% with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The grain bill is unusual, made up of 50% wheat and 50% malted barley. It was matured in bourbon casks and finished for nine months in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. It is a limited release. The nose is rich and warming, with honey, peach and orange, a touch of dark chocolate and cognac. The palate offers orange, milk and dark chocolate with balanced Oloroso notes, and the finish is dry and spicy.
