Catcher's Rye is a rye whiskey from Two James Spirits, based in Corktown, Detroit, the first licensed distillery in the city since Prohibition.
It is distilled from 100% Michigan rye and water from the Great Lakes, then aged for a minimum of two years in charred new American oak barrels of 53 gallons. It is described as having spice notes and a subtle fig.
