Two James Rye Dog (75cl)

Rye Dog is an un-aged rye whiskey from Two James Spirits in Detroit, Michigan, sold in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled from 100% locally grown rye from Wing Farms in Ann Arbor. Two James was founded in 2013 in the Corktown neighbourhood and was the first licensed distillery in Detroit since Prohibition. Because the whiskey goes into the bottle without time in barrel, the character of the rye grain comes through directly. It won Double Gold at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is described as floral and citrus, with a round, smooth mouthfeel.
