Two Rivers Bourbon Style Whisky is a small-batch craft whisky distilled by Two Rivers Distillery in Calgary, Alberta. It is made from local prairie corn, rye and malted barley, and matured in heavily charred new American oak barrels.
The flavour is corn-forward and sweet, reminiscent of traditional bourbon, with rounded notes of caramel, vanilla and gentle baking spices.
The nose opens with sweet yellow corn, toasted oak and butterscotch. On the palate it is smooth and creamy, with caramel, honeyed corn and vanilla, turning to light rye spice, toasted coconut and char. The finish is medium in length and warming, with sweet oak and gentle cinnamon.
