Two Stacks Double Barrel Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Two Stacks, independently bonded by the company and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from both malted and unmalted barley. The whiskey is matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in ex-American rye whiskey casks, which add spice to its creamy character. Fresh green apple leads the nose, with honey, toasted cereal and gentle spice. The palate is rich and creamy, with orchard fruit, nuts and pepper. The finish is lingering and spicy, with gentle sweetness and peppery warmth.
