Uncle Nearest Master Blend Edition (75cl)

Uncle Nearest Master Blend Edition is a Tennessee whiskey in a 75cl bottle, bottled at cask strength at Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville, Tennessee. With every blend of Uncle Nearest, master blender Victoria Eady Butler, a fifth-generation descendant of Nearest Green, picks one barrel from the batch and sets it aside. For this edition, those chosen barrels have been blended together for the first time. The whiskey follows the method associated with Nearest Green, regarded as the first known African American master distiller: new American oak barrels, a low barrel entry proof, filtration through sugar maple charcoal, and at least six winters in a rickhouse without temperature control.
