An 11 year old Highland single malt from an undisclosed distillery, distilled in 2011 and bottled in late 2022 by North Star Spirits. It was released as part of the 21st batch of the Cask Series, in a 70cl bottle at 56.5% ABV.
The whisky is a vatting of port and oloroso octave casks with a refill hogshead. Together they produced 265 bottles.
On the nose there is apple cider with crushed dark berries. The palate recalls birthday cake ice cream with chocolate wafer and flake, and the finish is oily throughout.
