Boulder Bourbon Batch 1 is a bourbon from Vapor Distillery in Colorado, bottled by hand at 42% in a 75cl bottle. The mash combines corn, rye and malted barley.
It matured for 18 months in new American oak casks of 56 litres. Because these casks are much smaller than the usual 200-litre size, vanilla, caramel and wood flavours are drawn out more quickly. The result is a round bourbon.
