This is a 1960s bottle of Vat 69, the blended Scotch created by William Sanderson in 1882. It comes in an imperial 35 fl oz bottle, which is 1035 ml. The name goes back to a panel tasting of 100 vats, from which number 69 was judged the best. By the late 1960s production had moved from Leith to South Queensferry, and this bottle dates from that South Queensferry period of the brand.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
