Vat 69 Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky from William Sanderson & Son, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It was launched in 1980 as a deluxe edition of the standard Vat 69, and was presented in a distinctive port-style bottle. The blend traditionally used Glen Garioch as its smoky Highland malt. The nose is honeyed, with soft caramel, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and candied citrus. The palate is round and velvety, with creamy malt, toffee, dried apricot, oak and a faint smoky hint. The finish is medium to long, warming and gently spiced, with oak, toffee and a whisper of smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
