Virginia Distillery Co. Port Cask Reserve is an American single malt made from 100% malted barley, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is first aged in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, then finished in tawny port casks and in port-style wine casks from Virginia.
The nose is described as honeycomb, walnuts and gingerbread. On the palate come bright lemon, red berries, soft smoke and cocoa.
