Vorberg Pinot Bianco Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2022 from the Terlano winery shows how Pinot Bianco can express itself in this area. The grapes come from the sunny slopes of Alto Adige, where the particular microclimate gives the grapes distinctive characteristics.
The wine is pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose combines green apple and peach with more evolved notes of dried fruit and vanilla, helped by ageing in wooden casks. On the palate it is structured and well balanced, with lively freshness and light creaminess.
It suits refined fish dishes or white meats, and is best served at 10-12°C.
