Vulson Old Rhino Rye Whisky 2015

Vulson Old Rhino Rye is a French rye whisky from Domaine des Hautes Glaces, a small-scale, terroir-driven distillery in the French Alps. It is aged in a combination of bourbon and cognac barrels. The rye brings spice and tension, while the cognac influence adds softness, fruit and a slight vinous depth. The nose has rye bread, light spices, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate is dry and spicy, with pepper, oak, honey and subtle grape notes. The finish is medium to long and warm, with lingering spice.
