W.B. Saffell Bourbon Whiskey (37.5cl, 53.5%)

W.B. Saffell is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon in a 37.5cl bottle, bottled at 53.5% ABV (107 proof) and non-chill filtered. It is a blend of aged bourbons, made with Eddie Russell, Master Distiller at Wild Turkey. The name goes back to 1889. The nose is savoury, with oak, vanilla, clove and nutmeg. The palate is spiced, layered with caramel, black pepper, cinnamon and allspice, and the finish is long, with mint tea, oak and vanilla.
